In 2010, Richard and his partner, David, opened the only GLBTQ Community Center in the State of New Mexico in Las Cruces. As New Mexico is a large mostly rural state, their plans are to open six regional community centers around the state over the next 5-10 years. Their second center in Gallup opened on October 1, 2012.
